The books written by Gaia Stiglich have extraordinary value in capturing the experiences of boys and girls in rural communities in Latin America. Not only do they transmit these experiences, but they also foster a deep connection with nature and the management of emotions, captured through the journeys of the main characters, Luis and Lucía. These works manage to build a bridge of dialogue between two languages and multiple cultures.

These books are a joy and an inspiration for children in Latin American communities who will find a door has opened into a new world of communication and understanding. The adventures of Luis and Lucia provide a vehicle for children to learn and grow in knowledge of themselves and their cultures. The story of how these books came about is equally inspiring. Gaia has shown determination and resourcefulness in turning a desire to make a difference into a reality. By bringing her talented team on board, she has released a dynamic creativity and innovation which will be life-changing for the children who are lucky enough to have a copy. The stories and their beautiful illustrations convey emotions and situations with sensitivity and warmth, which leave a lasting scene of hope and happiness. May these stories fly out across the world to help children love and live in harmony.

Whether you’re a teacher or a family, Gaia’s books make it easy to immerse students/children in English-Spanish. They’re well-written, illustrated and thought out for early childhood learning to manage emotions through immersion in other cultures. Thank you so much for giving it to our early childhood teachers in Mexico.

"Lucía en Urubamba" is a story that transcends language barriers, presenting itself as an invaluable tool and an invitation to strengthen ties between the various communities that speak different languages, Spanish - English. This story, written by Gaia, not only opens doors to the appreciation of cultural and linguistic richness, but also takes us on an interesting journey of imagination. What makes this story exceptional is its ability to convey its message in a way that is accessible and powerful at the same time. Gaia has achieved a balance, using easy-to-understand language that allows readers to immerse themselves in the story and connect with its deeper elements. It invites us to imagine what Lucía's life is like, how the connection between nature and values is manifested. As we progress in reading "Lucía en Urubamba", we cannot help but feel grateful and excited for the positive impact it will have on the development of reading and writing of students from the communities that are part of Enseña por Bolivia.

It has been very pleasant to meet Gaia and her two stories. Gaia is a very talented girl and she brings with her the pleasure of giving. Since we started the project, Gaia was clear about her objectives with these two stories, which she presented to us, the team, with great dedication. Respectful of all editorial processes, she accompanied us every step, from start to finish, in both stories.
Thank you Gaia for the opportunity to work with you on these two books, it has been a nice experience. Success in all your next goals!

The book is a really sweet story. Including Spanish and English in the text has been very beneficial to our bilingual children. The illustrations are colorful and reminiscent of a coloring book which is perfect for our younger children reading the book.

Thank you!

Thanks to "Luis in the jungle" I can practice reading with my students who are in the 5th grade. Reading is easy and the size of the letters allows them to understand what is written easily, in addition to being written in two languages, it brings them closer to English, a language with which they are not very familiarwith but with which they know the content. that they consume through social networks and now also thanks to this wonderful book by Gaia.

Thank you!!

I am a teacher in a school in Villa Hayes and my students loved the bilingual books and the story of Luis, they found it interesting that they could express the ideas of the story in two languages so they added a third, Guaraní.
While reading the story they chose random words to translate into Guaraní (Spanish-English-Guarani)

It is a very interesting story, accompanied by achievements and motivations for the students. The structure of the book was also very good since it is accompanied by images that in a certain way arouse the curiosity of the students.
It is a beautiful material for students that helps them dream ♡♡
